Today, performance testing is an integral part of the web applications quality assur-ance whose performance failures and performance issues affect the business of their owners. Goal. The goal of the work is to generalize approaches and methods to improve the quality of web applications and develop recommendations for improving performance testing using open source tools. The object of research is the processes of testing web applications. The subject of research is the approaches, methods and tools of performance testing. Methodology. The study identified the impact of software performance testing on its quality and its main types, namely load testing, stress testing, volume testing, stability testing. The main stages of performance test-ing and their content were identified. To implement modern automated testing technologies, the advantages and disadvantages of the most popular tools for testing performance in the modern IT market and continuous visualization of their results were analyzed and identified. The follow-ing factors should be considered when selecting a performance testing tool: compatibility, scalability, clarity, and monitoring. Time series databases and visualization tools are used for continuous monitoring of test results together with testing tools. Results. During the practical implementation of the research results, the goals of different types of performance testing, indi-cators of normal operation of the system without exceeding the permissible limits, test scenarios and test results were identified. Visualization of test results in JMeter is shown and a board for continuous real-time visualization is created. Originality. The originality of the study lies in un-locking the potential of open source tools for testing the performance of web applications and visualizing its results. On the basis of comparative analysis the spheres of application of tools for performance testing are substantiated. Practical value. Б.This study employed a multifractal approach to assess the heterogeneous structure of the Fe-Cr-Ni alloy. Goal. The calculation of the spectrum of dimensionalities for microstructural elements (pearlitic matrix, carbides, and graphite) was conducted using the Rényi formula. Methodology. New relationships were established between the structure and properties of the alloy (such as hardness and impact strength), which are described by models allowing prediction of properties from microstructure images. Results. Most of the derived correlations exhibit a linear nature, indicating that not only does the percentage content of a particular structural element influence its properties, but also the shape of the element, as characterized by its fractal dimension, contributes to those properties. Analytical method that can be useful for assessing and improving the characteristics of alloys. Practical value. The durability of crane ropes is very important, as it ensures not only the main costs of operating the lifting machine, but also the safety of loading and unloading operations The operating conditions of the rope have a very significant effect on the period of its use, but they are not always taken into account. Yes, the method of calculating the rope, which is reflected in the standard, does not take into account the operating conditions of the rope, so it is very difficult to accurately predict its durability. In modern educational and reference literature, the influence of the size and geometry of rope blocks on the durability of lifting ropes is underestimated. The main criterion that is taken into account when choosing a rope according to existing methods is the tensile strength of the rope, although as shown by the research of many famous scientists, the wires of the rope break precisely as a result of bending on the blocks and the drum. The diameter of the block is selected depending on the diameter of the rope and the mode of operation of the lifting mechanism. The material of the block and its geometry are not taken into account at all when choosing the type of rope and its diameter, while the wear of the surfaces of the rope and the block greatly affects the durability of these elements of the lifting mechanism. Determining the factors that affect the wear of the rope and the reduction of its durability is quite an important task and requires not only theoretical, but also experimental research. At the same time, ropes of different designs and diameters were considered. At the same time, ropes of different designs and diameters were considered. This made it possible to evaluate the influence of various elements of the rope and the block on the predicted durability of the rope. The conducted research made it possible to improve the formula of B. Kovalsky, which he proposed for choosing the diameter of the rope according to the service life. The dependence of the influence of the opening angle of the block groove, which is determined from the condition of the reduction of rope torsion during its deviation, on the durability of the rope was obtained. In order to obtain a more realistic picture of the load of the rope that bends on the block and drum, the calculation scheme was improved and the number of factors that have a significant impact on the durability of the rope was increased. The results of the research significantly bring the rope load conditions during bending on the block and drum closer to real values.Документ Development and properties of new powder materials(Харківський національний автомобільно-дорожній університет, 2024) Hlushkova, D.; Глушкова, Д. Б.The study analyzed powder materials to obtain wear-resistant coatings. Field tests for wear resistance were conducted using the method of friction between two surfaces. The tests were carried out on the universal test bench SMC-2 at a rotation speed of 200 rpm. A pressure of 100 kgf was applied to the test sample. Goal. The wear resistance test cycle comprised 200,000 revolutions, with lubrication provided through the drop method. Special powders were used in the experiment, including PG-SR3, PN55T45, and PR-Ni70Cr17S4R4 + 20 % PT-Al5N with a PT-Al5N under layer. Methodology. The selection of wear-resistant coatings was based on the analysis of the following properties: adhesion strength of the coating to the base material, wear resistance of the coatings, hardness, and porosity. Results. Metallographic analysis of the structure of plasma coatings obtained from powders PG-SR3, PN55T45, and PR-Ni70Cr17S4R4 + 20% PT-All5N with three different plasma heater power levels (10 kW, 15 kW, and 20 kW) indicated that the densest and most reliable coating among those studied is the coating made from PR-Ni70Cr17S4R4 + 20 % PT-Al5N powder. Practical value. Therefore, there is no need to increase the heater power beyond 15 kW when spraying this type of powder. They do not allow the objective characterization neither the consistency of bitumen no its transition from one state of matter to other. Goal. The solution to this problem is based on the principle that the resistance of bitumen to the penetration of the needle is a shear characteristic under conditions of complete adhesion to the surface of the needle. Methodology. The practical confirmation of this approach is based on the Core & Laurent method, which takes into account the rate of the bitumen layer and the resistance force to this displacement based on the geometric parameters of the needle and the force applied to it. Attempts to estimate bitumen viscosity with the depth of needle penetration have failed for two reasons. Firstly, bitumen viscosity is principally a technological characteristic. Secondly, in the simple conversion of the penetration value into viscosity neither the shear rate nor flow anomalies and a units ratio were taken into account. Results. In this research work the shear stress at penetration at the softening point temperature and breaking point temperature is taken as a mechanical characteristic of the states of matter. This statement of the problem is based on the linearity of the relationship between the test temperature and log of penetration, established by Hekelom. Later, this relationship was supplemented with a temperature of equal penetration T31 as a midpoint of the plasticity interval of bitumen with the same penetration but different penetration indexes. Practical value of this work is results in finding the relation between penetration and the reverse pliability G*/sin φ, which is applied in the Superpave system to evaluate the bitumen component in the rutting resistance of asphalt concrete.Документ Improving wear resistance of responsible hydraulic hammer details with ion-plasma treatment(Харківський національний автомобільно-дорожній університет, 2020) Glushkova, D. Л.; Чигрин, А. А.; Степанюк, А. И.Details of the hammer during operation are subject to wear, which leads to a decrease in their service life. In accordance with the literature data in the practice of engineering uses many methods of hardening, which do not give a significant effect. Therefore, the application of new methods of surface hardening has become topical. These methods include ion-plasma chromium plating. On the basis of experimental studies, the effect of ion-plasma chromium plating on the wear resistance and mechanical properties of hydraulic hammer parts has been established, structural changes in the material have been analyzed. Ion-plasma chromizing of the parts pro-motes the increase of their wear resistance in 1.75 times as compared to those which are not strengthened. The technology of ion-plasma chromizing secures the running of the strengthened parts without breaking off and chipping. The zones of structural changes are marked on the sec-tions of parts damages, which are typical for the effects of the second hardening.
