    HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM

    The hybrid vehicle control system includes a start–stop system for an internal combustion en-gine. The system works in a hybrid mode and normal vehicle operation. To simplify the start–stop system, there were user new possibilities of a hybrid car, which appeared after the conversion. Results of the circuit design of the proposed system of basic blocks are analyzed.

    The motivating techniques for training future engineer are proposed. Intrinsic and extrinsic motivations in professional training have been analyzed. The peculiarities of the formation process of students’ motivation in learning language at non-language universities have been systematized. Heuristic training technology based on students’ motivation to cognitive research has been implemented.

    A program for computer-aided calculation of non-rigid road coating UKRRDO 15 is considered in the given article. The program interface, a set of input data and the results of calculations are considered in detail. Calculations are performed for three strength criteria: permissible elastic deflection, shear strength of subsoil and monolithic layers resistance of tensile bending.

    The viscoelastic rheological model of asphalt concrete based on the generalized Kelvin model is offered. The mathematical model of asphalt concrete viscoelastic behavior that can be used for calculation of asphalt concrete upper layers of non-rigid pavements for strength and rutting has been developed. It has been proved that the structural model of Burgers does not fully meet all the requirements of the asphalt-concrete.

    NONLINEAR DYNAMICS OF A ROTOR WITH CANTILEVERED DISK RESTING ON ANGULAR CONTACT BALL BEARINGS

    The mathematical model of nonlinear oscillations of the rotor resting on angular contact ball bearings is developed. The disc is fixed on the console end of the shaft. The deflection of the shaft, and the elastic deformation of the bearings have the same order. Analysis of free oscillations is carried out, using nonlinear normal modes. The modes and backbone curves of rotor nonlinear oscillations are calculated. The system has soft characteristics.

    The problem of risk assessment of a highway section, which is equipped with protective en-gineering structures to reduce the ingredient-parametric pollution in the dwelling zone is considered, and the methodology of risk assessment «Failure Mode and Effects Analysis» (FMEA) is used to estimate the priority areas of increasing the level of safety in exploitation of the highway equipped with the protective screen.

Определены параметры непрерывного литья, которые обеспечивают стабильность процесса.

    COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS OF JET VORTEX TYPE SUPERCHAGES

    On the basis of mathematical modeling there was carried out a comparative analysis of characteristics of jet vortex type superchargers. Dependences of the energy performance of vortex ejector on the geometry parameters and the largest values in terms of efficiency as well as the coefficient of ejection are analyzed. There were built combined characteristics of vortex chamber pumps and vortex ejectors. Vortex chamber pump has advantage pressure in an exit channel over the vortex ejector, consequently there is a more effective power transmission from a working medium, besides the withdrawal of pumping medium in a tangential channel allows to avoid energy losses owing to rotation of a stream in an exit channel.

    The theoretical analysis of electromagnetic processes in the system for induction heating presented by a flat circular multiturn solenoid positioned above a plane of thin sheet non-magnetic metal has been conducted. The calculated dependences for the current induced in a metal sheet blank and ratio of transformation determined have been obtained. The maximal value of the transformation ratio with regard to spreading the eddy-currents over the whole area of the sheet metal has been determined.

    Наведено результати порівняльного аналізу розрахункових індикаторних показників робочого циклу дизеля за використання мінерального і сумішевого біодизельного палива. Визначено причини зниження термодинамічної ефективності циклу та покращення екологічних характеристик біодизельного двигуна порівняно з дизелем, що працює на традиційному паливі.

    The method of determining the dynamic characteristics of linear inertial pressure sensors based on one known sensor with redundant measurements usage is proposed. A method based on the approximate system of solving measurement inverse problems is offered. The proposed method ensures a lower relative measurement error as compared with any other existing method.

    The article deals with the features of applying a vehicular engine complex heating system with phase-transitional thermal accumulator. The results of experimental studies of heating the vehic-ular engine are shown. Using a phase-transitional thermal accumulator in the engine coolant heater system allows to considerably reduce the time for heating.

    The results of the method, of diesel injector state estimation are presented. On the basis of the hydrodynamic accumulator of the fuel supply process, there were obtained recommendations on the selection of design and adjusting parameters of the stand for checking the injectors. The criteria for quantitative estimation of diesel engine injector estimation are determined.

The use of speed reduction method on the approach to the railway crossing to improve the road safety and increase the crossing area by installing additional controlled traffic signs to display the speed mode along with time of railway crossing closing for road vehicles.
